Of course. VitalsOne brings an unprecedented level of security and reliability to remote consultation. However, you can always have a conventional video consultation using our services, even if you do not have VitalsOne.

I intend to see my patients using your VitalsOne system and Online Medicine platform, how can I join?
Our ecosystem is subject to strict clinical governance and accepts applications for membership from Doctors registered with the Portuguese Medical Association, qualified to freely practice their profession and enjoy their statutory rights. We strongly encourage your request to join this group that is revolutionizing the way Medicine is practiced remotely. After validation by our Board and Clinical Management, it will be quickly integrated into our platform.

Who are the radiology physicians that read the studies?
Our physicians represent the elite in their sub-specialties and developed their training in top institutions. In the site you will find full information about the curriculum and abilities of each of them.

To make a medical appointment do I always need the VitalsOne device?
The VitalsOne device brings a never-before-seen level of accuracy and security to remote medical consultations. However, in our Online Medicine division, you can have a conventional video consultation, even without the VitalsOne device.

Do you have agreements with insurance companies and subsystems?
We are actively working to close agreements with the main insurance companies and will have news soon. At this time, you can make our appointments using the current price list and submit a reimbursement request to ADSE or your insurer or sub-system, if your care package allows it.

Is there any cost for registration?
There is no cost you have to bear to register and be accepted into our group or to be part of it.

Can I use the services of only one given physician or one given sub-specialty?
You can satisfy a need for occasional differentiation in your practice by using our services. We will provide every needed link to our platform, even if you wish to use the services of only one physician.

Do my vital clinical parameters captured on the device automatically go to my medical record in the Online Medicine division?
If you have a VitalsOne device and request a Doctor consultation in our Online Medicine division, then yes, the Doctor immediately has access to your vital parameters on the consultation platform and the user will also be able to view this data. In other words, there is an automated synchronization/exchange of information between the device and the query platform.

Are my clinical data safe?
All your clinical information and electronic clinical records are stored on encrypted servers and comply with the strictest data protection policy.

Is there a cost when I use the platform to make a consultation?
There is a percentage margin that is taken to cover the costs of our ecosystem, exactly like when a hospital or clinic charges a percentage for the consultations it provides to its patients. However, given our low operating costs compared to physical infrastructures, this percentage is lower, meaning the Doctor's profit is higher.

Do you also provide interpretation of Computed Tomography or Conventional Radiology?
Our service is primarily directed to the most complex and differentiated Imaging technique, Magnetic Resonance. However we can also provide interpretation of the remaining imaging techniques.

Is my data safe?
Your vital parameters are stored encrypted and secure on cloud servers and all data protection policies are respected.

How can I make an appointment with my regular doctor using your Online Medicine and VitalsOne system?
Any Doctor can join our platform after verifying their professional certification. You can ask your Doctor to register on our platform, thus having access to our entire technological infrastructure, which will allow you to follow your patients, in a safe and reliable way (check the Faq – professionals page).

Do my patients necessarily have to have the VitalsOne device?
VitalsOne brings an unprecedented level of security and reliability to remote consultation. However, you can always carry out a conventional video consultation using our platform, even if the patient does not have VitalsOne, naturally benefiting from all the sophisticated video consultation interfaces, Apps and Desktop, as well as the entire electronic clinical record system, available anytime, anywhere.

Our services operate in an own platform including all functions needed for safe, quick and efficient operation.

In case of device failure, what should I do?
The device is highly reliable, long-lasting and safe. However, in case of any unforeseen circumstances, the device has a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects. You must contact our customer support to find a solution.

When I sign up for a care package, why does the device cost less?
Subscribing to a care package allows you to have a set of monitoring services close to your health status and receive the device at a reduced price. In this situation, you have an obligation to remain in the services (contractual) for at least 24 months (loyalty) with payment of a monthly fee.

I follow chronic patients. Can I be responsible for my patient's clinical monitoring protocol and/or their care package, monitoring their vital parameters myself?
Yes you can, you will be informed of the specific conditions.

We already have a provider of teleradiology services. May we add your services?
Our platform is absolutely compatible with any already existing solution and installation thereof is cost free. With us you can, thus, have an additional option for the most complex or differentiated exams (for example, Magnetic Resonance).

When do I sign up for the care package when I receive the device at home?
When subscribing to the care package you will make a first payment that will give you access to the device at a reduced price. After payment, you will receive a 24-month loyalty contract by email. After signing and returning this contract, you will receive the device at your address within one to two business days.

In the final report must I have the logo or brand or your company?
By no means. You can keep the brand and report template of your company or practice in the final report. All will work as if you had our top sub-specialists working in your practice and for your clients.

Can I use the VitalsOne device even without making any medical appointments or without being a Medicina Online customer?
VitalsOne works perfectly independently of our Medical consultations. If you want to have in a single, practical and simple device, the size of a cell phone, the possibility of measuring a huge set of vital parameters, then VitalsOne is for you. From measuring your blood pressure, checking your child's temperature, or something more sophisticated like doing an ECG at home or even checking blood oxygen (so useful even in times of COVID) among many other functions.

I signed the contract for a care package, but I plan to back out. What are the costs?
As with any loyalty package (for example, in telecommunications), if you cancel before the 24 months have elapsed, you will be obliged to pay the amounts due until you complete the 24 months of loyalty.

Is there a loyalty or mandatory permanence period in your services?
By no means. There is no permanence commitment. We are sure that you will appreciate the quality of our services and bet on a long-term relationship with the client. However you can interrupt our services at any moment and without prior warning.

Do I always have to subscribe to a care package?
Not at all. You can simply purchase the VitalsOne device, without any care package and without any loyalty.

Do you have emergency coverage?
Our company has a particular vocation to cover routine exams. However emergency coverage can also be guaranteed, the report being available in 30 to 90 minutes.

What devices can sync with my electronic clinical record? Do I really need VitalsOne?
Various devices can transmit your vital parameters to our system, allowing the Doctor to provide a remote consultation with increased quality, even if you do not have VitalsOne. All Apple Health parameters synchronize automatically with our platform and various devices such as Glucometers with BLE compatibility, Blood Pressure meters from the Omron brand or even sports equipment from the Polar brand, synchronize automatically with our APP, providing precious information to your medical team.

We would like to hire your telemedicine services but we have night emergency. How do we proceed?
You can hire our telemedicine services for all day activity, thus providing your patients with a highly differentiated qualitative response as well as for the night emergency. Our solution is absolutely compatible with all systems, and you can have more than one service provider installed.

We allways provide night coverage for urgent exams.

What technology do we need to have?
You only need a high-speed Internet connection. Technology compatible with DICOM is useful. Nevertheless, if you have any equipment operating in non-DICOM mode, we can also provide the necessary assistance. We take responsibility for all processes of connecting to our platform, at no cost.
